TranzAlpine Train

Take a vehicle from Christchurch, along the Canterbury Plains, to Springfield. Hop on the TranzAlpine scenic train going to Arthurs Pass, where you will get off & meet your guide.

 

Stretch your legs on an alpine track through beech forest & meet the cheeky kea before returning to Christchurch via Castle Hill Basin.
